Getting rich from crypto…
… is not easy. Avoid the hype you’ll see on threads like Reddit, where the common question are things like “wen lambo” to mean when will everyone who invested $1,000 suddenly grow their investment so much, that everyone can buy a lambo. But honestly, no one can really promise 50x, 20x or even 10x. The earlier years of crazy crypto returns are likely over. However, there are still better returns to be made than you’d find anywhere else. It does come with a lot of risk. High risk, high reward. With that, let me explain my approach to investments in general.
When it comes to investing, there are a few things you should know to make sure you’re doing it responsibly. One of the most important things to understand is that it is almost impossible to time the market. This means that trying to predict when the market will rise or fall and buying or selling accordingly is a risky strategy that is likely to lead to poor returns.
Instead, it’s all about understanding the principle of high risk and high reward investments. This means that investments that come with a higher level of risk also have the potential for higher returns. For example, stocks are considered to be higher risk investments because they’re more volatile and their value can fluctuate greatly. On the other hand, bonds are considered to be safer investments because they’re less volatile and provide a more consistent return.
But why invest at all? Well, because it’s important to make your money work harder for you. Holding money in cash or savings actually means that your money loses value over time due to inflation. By investing, you can earn a return that is higher than the rate of inflation, which means that your money will grow in value.
When it comes to crypto, it’s also important to remember that it’s an extremely volatile market. It’s also difficult to time the market, and it’s better to think of crypto as a longer-term investment. Most importantly, you should only invest into crypto what you’re willing to lose completely.
For me personally, I’ve decided to invest about 15% of my portfolio into crypto, fully aware that I could lose all of it. But I’m willing to risk it because I believe in crypto as the future. Investing responsibly is a process that requires careful consideration and research, but with the right mindset, you can achieve your financial goals.
So… let’s get started!
